San Mi (Three Secrets)
In this turn of Mother Earth there are historical records dating back thousands of years. We understand that Mother Earth has been in many turns before. Mother Earth has reincarnated many times. Reincarnation is a universal law. I shared in the introduction that the oldest minerals analyzed to date were found in Western Australia and are at least 4.4 billion years old. In the future, scientists could discover much older minerals on Mother Earth.
Time also reincarnates. A new era for Mother Earth and all universes begins every fifteen thousand years. On August 8, 2003 the previous era ended. It was Xia Gu (pronounced shyah goo), the near ancient era. Archeologists estimate that modern humans have been on Mother Earth for about two hundred thousand years. I received a spiritual message from Heaven that human beings have existed on Mother Earth for much longer than two hundred thousand years. It will take time for scientists to find evidence of this.
Some archaeologists say that symbols found in China carved into 8,600-year-old tortoise shells may be the earliest written words. We do not have enough records from twenty thousand to thirty thousand years ago or even earlier to explain what had happened with humanity on Mother Earth.
From ancient times up to now, one of the biggest treasures that has been left to humanity and given us great benefits is sacred spiritual wis- dom and practice. This sacred spiritual wisdom and practice is continu- ally guiding humanity to transform every aspect of their lives. Sacred spiritual wisdom and practice from ancient times up to now can be summarized as San Mi. “San Mi” means three secrets. I will explain San Mi further.

San Mi includes Shen Mi, Kou Mi, and Yi Mi.
1. Shen Mi – Body Secret
“Shen” means body. “Mi” means secret. “Shen Mi” (pronounced shun mee) means Body Secret. If you observe statues and paintings in all kinds of spiritual temples and churches around the world and in every spirit- ual tradition, the masters, buddhas, and saints apply special hand pos- itions or mudras as well as body positions when they meditate or do spiritual practice. That is Shen Mi, Body Secret. There are so many body secrets. Every hand and body position benefits different parts of the body.
Shen Mi can be summarized in one sentence:
Where you put your hands is where you receive the benefits for healing, rejuvenation, and development.
2. Kou Mi – Mouth Secret
“Kou” means mouth. “Mi” means secret. “Kou Mi” (pronounced koe mee) means Mouth Secret, which is chanting mantras. Mantras are sacred sounds and messages chanted repeatedly for healing and preventing sickness, rejuvenation, prolonging life, and transforming relationships, finances, and every aspect of life.
I will give one example. Billions of people on Mother Earth have learn- ed and continue to learn from Buddhism. One of the most renowned mantras in Buddhist teaching is:
Na Mo A Mi Tuo Fo
“Na Mo” (pronounced nah maw) means revere. “A Mi Tuo Fo”
(pronounced ah mee twaw faw) is a buddha’s name (Amitabha in Sanskrit). The founder of Buddhism, Shi Jia Mo Ni Fo (pronounced shr jyah maw nee faw), also known as Shakyamuni Buddha and Siddhartha Gautama, in the stillness of his meditation found A Mi Tuo Fo, who is an ancient buddha from a long, long time ago. A Mi Tuo Fo was an emperor in ancient times. He abdicated his throne to follow his spiritual master, with the goal of reaching soul enlightenment. A Mi Tuo Fo made
forty-eight vows to create Ji Le Shi Jie, a spiritual realm in Heaven. “Ji” means most. “Le” means happiness. “Shi Jie” means the world. “Ji Le Shi Jie” (pronounced jee luh shr jyeh) means the world of most happiness. It is also named the Pure Land. This Land has no ego, no anger, no fight- ing, no jealousy, and no competition. Those who inhabit the Pure Land share love, care, and compassion with each other. They are uplifting their soul journeys higher and higher.
A Mi Tuo Fo’s eighteenth vow is the most important of his forty-eight vows. He vowed that if anyone who believes in him and desires to go to his Pure Land chants his name ten times shortly before transitioning from physical life, A Mi Tuo Fo’s soul will personally bring this one’s soul to his Pure Land. A Mi Tuo Fo has gathered countless buddhas, bodhisattvas, and other high-level souls in his realm to do spiritual practice to advance their soul journeys.
There are three leaders in the Pure Land. They are Guan Yin, the Compassion Buddha, Da Shi Zhi (pronounced dah shr jr), the Intelligence Buddha, and A Mi Tuo Fo. Billions of people in history have honored the three of them. The most important spiritual achievement for Buddhists is to go to the Pure Land after physical life ends in order to continue their spiritual journey.
Billions of Buddhists in history have chanted Na Mo A Mi Tuo Fo. Why do they chant Na Mo A Mi Tuo Fo? The teaching is to chant Na Mo A Mi Tuo Fo is to become a buddha.
